Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

As a customer in the European Union, you benefit from a statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), as amended by Directive (EU) 2023/2673.

Your 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) receive your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires. You may do this via:

  • Our online withdrawal function, available on this page and in your order confirmation email — simply click “Withdraw from this contract”, confirm your order details, and you will receive an automatic email acknowledgement.
  • Email to storebellebloom@outlook.com, including your order number and a clear statement of withdrawal.
  • The standard EU withdrawal form, available on request.

Withdrawal Function — What Happens Next

Once you submit your withdrawal request:

  1. You will receive an immediate confirmation of receipt by email (on a durable medium), as required by EU law.
  2. You must send back the goods without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicated your withdrawal.
  3. We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (up to the cost of our standard delivery option), within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
  4. Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.

Return Postage

Unless the item is faulty or was sent in error, the direct cost of returning the goods is your responsibility. We recommend a tracked shipping service.

Hygiene Exception

In accordance with Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery. This includes:

  • Knickers, briefs, and all underwear styles where the hygiene seal has been removed or broken
  • Swimwear with hygiene seal removed

This exception does not affect your rights regarding faulty or incorrectly described goods.

Condition of Returned Goods

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. We recommend trying items on without removing hygiene seals or tags.

Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Independently of your right of withdrawal, EU law guarantees you a minimum 2-year legal guarantee against goods that are faulty, damaged, or not as described, from the date of delivery. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us at storebellebloom@outlook.com and we will arrange a free return, repair, replacement, or refund.

What If I Don't Use the Withdrawal Function?

If we fail to provide you with the required information about your right of withdrawal, the withdrawal period is automatically extended to 12 months and 14 days from delivery. We are committed to providing this information clearly, both at checkout and in this policy.
